
The NASA photo-ID issued to NASA civil service employees and other Federal agency and military detailees shall be honored for access to NASA Headquarters and all NASA Centers.ħ.2.5. Security clearance status shall not be designated by any device, color, or code on any NASA photo-ID.ħ.2.4. Includes permanent resident aliens (PRA).ħ.2.3. Foreign national visitors and contractor employees from designated and non-designated countries. Appropriately accredited members of the pressħ.2.2.7. Other Federal agency employees and military personnel detailed to NASAħ.2.2.6. NASA non-appropriated fund employeesħ.2.2.4.


These photo-ID badges are required as official identification for entry to NASA facilities:ħ.2.2.2. NASA photo-ID badges are color-coded to designate the following categories of personnel, as specified in Appendix I, NASA Photo-Identification Standards. The CCS shall develop and monitor local procedures pertaining to the issuance, utilization, control, and accountability of the NASA Photo-ID badge and any Center-specific visitor passes.ħ.2.2. NASA currently employs an Agency-specific employee photo-ID badge or Center-specific visitor pass to ensure only properly authorized personnel are granted access to NASA Centers, facilities, and other resources.ħ.2.2. Procedures shall be established to ensure only authorized personnel are admitted to NASA Headquarters and field Centers.ħ.2 NASA Photo-Identification (Photo-ID) Badge Programħ.2.1. Positive entry controls shall be implemented at all entry points to the Center and individually designated security areas and facilities, as deemed necessary, to preclude unauthorized access to critical areas, information, or personnel.ħ.1.3.

Each Center shall apply and maintain appropriate physical security measures necessary to provide for protection of persons and property.ħ.1.2.
